I started this Blog to help me in my journey to get thinner and healthier. It helps me keep accountable with my exercise. I didn't get overweight over night and I am working hard to get back in shape. My friend told me that It's not a Sprint but that it's a Marathon!!

Exercises in Bed

Now....that's what I am talking about!!
I'm always looking for different things to do to get in exercise. I thought that these looked kinda cool.
1. Leg swings
2. Pass the pillow to your hands and back again
3. Bring the knees up to your chest.
4. With legs straight do butterfly leg kicks.
5. Pull yourself back and onto your back.
Do these about 20 times and all I can say is......K-I-L-L-E-R-S!!!!
Update: The past 2 weeks have been hard. I have some family issues to deal with which has cost me many sleepless nights. My eating and steps have been good. I only lost 2 lbs. I hope that these next 2 weeks will be better.
P.S. Still NO candy bars, pop or fast food!! YAY!!

Thats right....totally awesome. Im so happy.

I decided to give up fast food, chips, pop and candy bars. Its easy to tell myself that I can still eat this stuff and loose...not really.
I had to face the truth and I got really serious about my diet this last week. I didn't really exercise that much..I got my steps in and swam.

So.....I lost 6 lbs last week.
1/2 inch in chest
1/2 inch in mid section
1 inch in Stomach

So...its got me pumped for this week. I'm a fair weather outsider ha...and the weather is almost bearable. I'm hoping that I can get outside a bit. If not.....I'll be at the pool!!

January finished

It was a busy and good month. Even though i gained weight....I'm hoping that it was muscle. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Ha
To not get discouraged...I'm keeping track of inches lost instead of weighing.
I measured Sunday night and I lost 1 in. In my stomach and 1 in. In my bottom. I didn't weigh but I was pleased.

So now...I'm heading into Feb and eating is good and i try to do some exercise in the morning .
Although I hate to exercise lol
Looking forward to more inches to loose.

Starting back up for 2017!!

I havent been here for ages!! I apologize.
I was doing so good by the time for the BAR. I had lost down to 187 lbs from 227.
I was super excited and summer hit....along with cookouts, holidays etc. I thought well its warm outside I will get all this outside exercise in...well....good intentions and it never happened. I got busy with life and work and whatever. Now I am back up 20lbs and I have no one to blame but myself. I can sure feel that 20 lbs too.
So...do you see this? The Christmas cookies are all GONE. Christmas and New Years are over!!
Water picture is full and will be my everyday drink from now on.
I will be hitting the Mini tramp with my jumping jacks and My Slim in 6 videos at least 4 of the 7 days. Id like to say everyday but cant commit to that.
I must admit that I am really bad procrastinator!! Seriously I am!!
This sign hangs in my kitchen.
I am getting near that last minute. My son is getting married May 13th and I want to be a cute Mother of the Groom and WOW everyone with a skinnier me with a pretty new dress!!
 I have to dance that Mother/Son dance and I want him to be Proud of me!!! This weight isn't going to fall off so I HAVE to make MAJOR changes right NOW!!
I am going to use this blog as my accountability..it worked with my 40 lbs so hoping that it will work again!! So here goes!!! LOL
